                 Location

 

This holiday flat is located in the Baltic seaside resort of Sellin on the east coast of the island of Rügen in a holiday park on the first floor, built in the traditional old spa villa style. It is in a central, yet quiet location. All everyday necessities are within walking distance. The beautiful coast with its fine, light-coloured sandy beach can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot or by beach shuttle.

The apartment no. 611 is ideal for a holiday as a couple or on your own, where you can feel at home and go on excursions.

It is located in 'Haus Mönchgut' at Mönchguter Straße 6, which is rented out via the company 'Seepark Sellin Ferienwohnungen AG'. Here you can get the most favourable offers. For example, in the low season from 4 November, you can spend three days here with two people for just under €100.

If you come and don't yet know the marvellous island of Rügen, you will love it and return.

Frequently asked questions

How do I travel ?
  • by car (quickest route): to Stralsund from the A 20 motorway   -> then via the Rügendamm on the B 96 to Bergen, then continue on the B 196 to Sellin. If there are no traffic jams, allow 3/4 of an hour.                                                          
  • -> Check-in for accommodation on the island is between 4 and 6 pm. To avoid traffic jams, you can plan to arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon. If you can't make it by 6 pm, you can call the reception at the Seeparks in advance.
  • by train: if you book online with DB (company 'Deutsche Bahn') 2 months in advance, you can travel from Berlin main train station to Binz from €16.99 for a ticket without changing trains (ICE 1076 from 11:44 in 3h 53 min, 11 stops or ICE 1072 from 15:44 in 3h 45 min, 4 stops) or from Munich main train station from €55.99 without changing trains in 8h 39 min with 18 stops via Nuremberg and Leipzig.
  • -> from Binz then continue with the historic "Rasender Roland" train for about 25 minutes to Sellin-Ost station next to the 'Seepark' (runs from 8:40 am to 6:40 pm until 9 May 2025 and from 10 May 2025 - 2 November 2025 until 10:44 pm every 2 hours)

Is there a car park nearby?

Yes, there are parking spaces to rent in the underground car park of 'Haus Möchgut' (€7 per day). They can be booked online in advance or paid for on arrival at the reception of the holiday apartment complex.

How much do I have to pay for travelling on the 611?

In 2025, single travellers pay the lowest overnight price (e.g. €40), for the second person a small surcharge (e.g. €4) is added (so the total overnight price for both is €44), depending on the season, minimum overnight stays (min. 2 nights) must be booked.

Will I have to pay any additional costs?

Yes, the final cleaning is carried out professionally by a provider, for which an additional €65 is payable for the holiday flat.

In addition, a deposit of €100, which is refunded after departure, and a tourist tax of €3.25 per day in the high season (1 May - 31 October and 20 December - 6 January) and €2.55 per day in the low season must be paid at reception. With payment of the tax, you will receive the guest card (Kurkarte), which entitles you to use additional services in selected tourist facilities. For example, you can use the toilets on the beach, the beach shuttle and certain public buses, events, guided tours free of charge and reduced admission to museums and the neighbouring AHOI Water Adventure World.

Bed linen, starter kit for personal hygiene, tea towels and washing-up liquid as well as toilet paper are included in the room price.

What should you definitely take with you?

Is the holiday flat handicapped accessible?

No, the rooms are not suitable for people with severe mobility restrictions.
